Speakers:

Reverends Yee Tham Wan & Ngoh Moon Tee have been Malaysian Assemblies of God missionaries to the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (APTS) in Baguio, Philippines since June 2004.

Tham Wan and Moon Tee both graduated with their bachelor's degrees from the Bible College of Malaysia (BCM), Petaling Jaya. Tham Wan graduated in 1989 with his B.Th. while Moon Tee graduated with her B.Th. in 1999. Tham Wan went on to further his studies at APTS, graduating with an M.A. in Ministry in 1996 and a Th.M. in Pentecostal Studies in 2004. Moon Tee likewise continued her studies at APTS, where she graduated with an M.A. in Ministry in 2006. Tham Wan has recently been accepted for a doctoral studies program with the Asia Graduate School of Theology (Malaysia/Singapore/Thailand track) under the Asia Theological Association.

Married since 1980, they now have three grown sons: Lemuel, Elroi and Ian. Lemuel has been married to Melanie since 2005. On the 21st of December 2007, Melanie gave birth to Mikayla, Tham Wan and Moon Tee's granddaughter.

Tham Wan was the Pastor of Canaan Church, Jinjang from 1985 till 2003. During his term as the pastor of Canaan Church, the church grew from about 35 members to about 200 (with 3 language congregations: English, Chinese and Burmese/Chin). It was under his leadership that the church bought its new premises in 1994. Moon Tee was the Associate Pastor at Canaan Church, handling the Chinese congregation. Tham Wan also personally pioneered a new Canaan Church congregation at Desa Sri Hartamas in 1999. In 2003/04, Tham Wan provided pastoral oversight for Elim Assembly in Kepong while the church was in transition.

Tham Wan served as the Central District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God of Malaysia from 2001 to 2004. As the District Superintendent, Tham Wan also served as a member of the General Council Executive Committee of the Assemblies of God of Malaysia. Tham Wan taught part-time at BCM as well. Courses he has handled at BCM include NT Greek, Acts, General Epistles, Romans, Revelation, Pentecostal Foundations, and Asian Theology.

Tham Wan and Moon Tee have traveled widely to several Asia-Pacific countries on ministry, including the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, Macao, China, Taiwan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, and - of course - the Philippines.

Their current ministry at APTS allows them to minister to graduate students from almost all over the world. Tham Wan teaches mainly Missions, Ministry and Contextual Theology subjects. Tham Wan is presently the President of APTS. Tham Wan and Moon Tee continue to be active in local church ministries, ministering in the weekends to churches in the area around the APTS campus in Baguio.

They are pioneer pastors of an international Chinese congregation under the Baguio Assembly City Church. That small congregation now has members from about 10 different countries, including some from mainland China. That congregation is now called the Baguio International Chinese Church and Moon Tee is the Senior Pastor.
